Experienced Author

I've had the pleasure of writing ten books over the last ten years, covering topics from HTML and CSS to web design to Adobe Dreamweaver and Flash to Android. The first nine books were published by John Wiley & Sons, while the most recent is published by Apress.

In addition, I have recorded multiple "how to" videos for Pearson and SkillSoft.

Below are details of my most recent publications.

Beginning Adobe Experience Design

Published by Apress, this book is a close examination of Adobe's latest design tool: Adobe XD. Topics covered in the book include a detailed examination of the importance and need to carefully plan the design for sites and mobile apps, a look at the interface, drawing and creating content in the program, and much more.

In addition to my ten books, I am a Core Contributor to GeekDad.com, a blog originaly started by the editor-in-chief of Wired magazine. Now operating independently, the blog is written by a group of geeky parents from around the world. I write on average one post a week, focusing primarily on technology, movies, and board games.
